* * *Debris removal – volunteering in an apple field * * *
About ten people helped in the debris removal in an apple field in Yonesaki-cho.
・A huge mixture of debris lies scattered around, including boats, cars, etc.

Earlier, there had been many apple trees there.

Elimination of debris

* * *Talking to people who own the apple field* * *

・The proprietress's house was flooded by the tsunami.
・The owner is hopeful that the apple field will open again soon.
・The power supply there is produced by solar energy.
・Well water is the primary resource of water.
・Food is delivered by the self defense force. Therefore, there is not any problem with food at the moment. However some people who live in the same district still have problems with the food-supply.
※The proprietress said goodbye to us: We will rebuild the city again in a few years!
